50 years ago, by following the command of Lord Shree Swaminarayan, Gurudev Shashtriji Maharaj first initiated the pilgrimage through Special Train in the Swaminarayan sect and so far 8 successful pilgrimages were successfully organized through special trains.

On the occasion of Golden Jubilee of the initiation of such special pilgrimage train, Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Rajkot is planning to organize 9th Special pilgrimage train during 14/08/2010 to 05/09/2010.  All the participant devotees shall be able to perform the darshan of places which became places of pilgrimage when Shree Nilkanthwarni (Lord Swaminarayan) set his feet on those grounds during his on foot pilgrimage.

The Ceremony was held at Office Premises at Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School, Gulbarga, Dhanvantaripuri of Dhananjaya Developers, Sedam Road, Post Hagarga, Tq. & Dist. Gulbarga.

It was glad to invite Chief Guest, Sri Rajneesh Goel (IAS), Regional Commissioner, Gulbarga for the official opening ceremony. It involved cutting of the Ribbon, Jyotiprajvalan and Pujan & Aarti of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan.

The Admission process begin with the first admission of Gurukul Gulbarga given to Master Sampat Rathod. After which the admissions was rushed with many other candidates. Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul International School Gulbarga is starting from KG to VIII this year (for more details: Click Here).

The occasion was concluded with honor of the Chief Guest and a hope of cherishing a  grand success to the shortly opening International School.
